With love and remembrance, we celebrate the life of Antoinette Deshun Glenn, born on June 7, 1964, in
Dallas, Texas, and was the beloved daughter of Virgia M. Glenn and Rubin Glenn Sr. Antoinette
accepted and served Jesus Christ at an early age, serving in the church and community choirs
throughout her life and with the family group {The Glenn Singer’s} and wherever her voice was needed.
Antoinette’s love and ear for music was something to behold and those that encountered her experienced
that love; along with her wit, grace, kindness, and that quiet and loud strength she carried throughout her
life.
Antoinette graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in 1982. She worked for the Dallas Independent
School District as a Teacher and a Teacher’s Aide, where she was known for her compassion, dedication,
and the positive impact she had on those around her. Her passion for children church ministry was the
jewels in her crown.
Antoinette was a devoted mother to her three children: Keenlen D. Bennett, Ke’Andra D. Bennett, and Ke’
Osha D. Bennett, who were the heart of her world. Her love for them was unconditional, and her pride in
their accomplishments was evident to all who knew her.
Antoinette is also survived by her sisters, Lisa E. Glenn and Gladys Tinner-Clark, and her brothers,
Stanley B. Glenn (Nira) and Rubin Glenn Jr. She leaves behind a host of loving relatives, dear friends,
and her cherished fur-grandbabies, Ginger and Socks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgia M. Glenn and Rubin Glenn Sr., and her stepsisters
Elmarie Rowan and Ruby Lee Powell.
Antoinette will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her dedication to others, and the love she shared so
freely. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered
