On March 11, 1948, a strong and intelligent queen, Cynthia Williams, was born in Texas to the late Geneva Kipkin – Flowers and Robert James Kipkin. She was blessed with two loving sisters, Roberta Douglas and Jean King.
She confessed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and remained a devoted servant of the Lord throughout her life. She attended J.O. Davis High School, where she excelled academically and graduated as valedictorian. She continued her education at Texas Southern University, proudly majoring in Business.
On May 31, 1969, she united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Howard Williams, a union that blossomed into 56 beautiful years of marriage. Their marriage was blessed with three children: Sherronda Williams, Keisha Williams and Howard Williams Jr, all of whom she cherished deeply.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, she worked at Bantec for over 30 years as an analyst, demonstrating excellence, loyalty, and leadership.
As a lifelong Southern Baptist, she was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she lifted her voice joyfully in the choir and served in the Junior Women’s Organization and was a deaconess. Her faith guided her every step and shaped the love and wisdom she shared with her family.
She found joy in many simple pleasures—listening to soul and gospel music, playing bingo, traveling, and most of all, spending quality time with her children and ten grandchildren. She carried herself with grace, spoke with wisdom, and stood firm in her faith. She was truly a queen in spirit, strength, and intelligence.
On November 15, 2025, the Lord called His daughter home to eternal rest.
