Tony Watts Obituary

Tony Wayne Watts affectionately known as T.W. was promoted to an Angel on November 21, 2025. He was born September 25, 1961 in Shreveport, LA to James Robert Watts and Ollie Mae Watts as the fifth child to their union.

Tony accepted Christ at a young age and concluded his formal education at L.G. Pinkston in Dallas, TX

Tony worked as an Operations Project Manager the majority of his adulthood. During his time in Austin, he branched out to open Top-Shelf Modular Installations. He eventually followed his love for cooking by founding Watts- That! Soul Food and More, where he poured his heart into preparing delicious meals for others to enjoy while being treated like family.

Tony was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Vater B. Shack and Harbert Watts, Ada Walton Taylor and Teether Taylor, mother Ollie Mae Watts, sister Sandra Watts and father James Robert Watts.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Tony Bowens, Shaunqualia Watts and Shakina Watts all of Dallas, TX metroplex. Siblings Elmer Ray Taylor, Dorothy Coleman, Tremelia Gail Shackelford, Robert Wayne Watts, Michael Watts and Reginald Watts (Simone). Grandchildren Lexxus Propes, Markeievius Bowens, Antonio Bowens, Riann Carter, D'Andre Peterson, Brennyn Bennett, Michah Bowens, Terrance Bennett Jr., Reagan Hewston, Jaxon Young and McKinley Rose. Tony met, fell in love with and married his high school sweetheart Debbie Fuller Watts. Over a span of 47 years, they shared love, friendship and the joys of raising a family together. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family & Friends
